Boxing Section

The Boxing Section of the Sports School No. 2 is a place where children and young people have the opportunity to learn or deepen in a sport with a rich history and significant benefits. This section is organized into three branches, each led by a dedicated and qualified coach: Șîntîruc Andrei, Zaporojenco Ion and Irtugan Victor.

The three branches are strategically located in the municipality of Cahul:

• Sports School hall no. 2
• Hall in the "D. Cantemir" Theoretical High School
• The specialized hall from the Ghidro microregion

Both boys and girls, aged 8 and over, can enroll in this department, provided they have the mandatory medical form. Boxing is a sport that offers notable benefits to those who practice it, such as the development of strength, endurance, coordination and personal discipline. In addition, this sport gives children and youth the opportunity to learn self-defense techniques, build self-confidence and develop character.

What makes boxing unique is that it involves a combination of technique, physical training and mental focus. This sport provides a platform for the development of physical qualities such as agility and strength, but also for the development of tactical intelligence and self-control. By participating in training and competitions, children learn values ​​such as fair play, respect, and perseverance, all of which are essential aspects of their personal development.
