Greco-Roman Wrestling Section

The Sports School no. 2 has proudly hosted the Greco-Roman Wrestling section since 1984, transforming during this period four generations of passionate athletes into budding champions. The activity of this section has brought many notable results and awards over the years, which confirms the ability of our athletes to rise to the highest standards of Greco-Roman wrestling.

 The students of our Greco-Roman Wrestling section have shone in numerous regional, national and international competitions, tournaments and championships. This combat discipline made our athletes participate in four European Championships, and in 2022-2023 they won no less than 5 silver and bronze medals. And this year, 6 wrestlers met the criteria for being a master of sports candidate. These results reflect not only their talent, but also the hard work and dedication they put into their constant training.
