Tudor Bratu, at the "Qatar Cup IWF Grand Prix II 2023"

Between December 2-14, in Doha, Qatar, Cahul athlete Tudor Bratu impressed at the Qatar Cup IWF Grand Prix II 2023, competing in the category up to 102 kilograms, Group B.

In the pull test, Tudor Bratu managed to lift the impressive weight of 175 kilograms, placing first in this stage of the competition. His performance continued in the shot put, where he lifted 215 kilograms, again taking 1st place.

With a total of 390 kilograms, Bratu temporarily ranked 1st in Group B, demonstrating remarkable strength and technique in both events of the competition.

Being initially ranked 24th, thanks to this participation he ranked 8th in the world ranking for the Paris 2024 Olympic games. Plus he officially achieved the result of Master in International sport for the first time

The final ranking for Tudor Bratu brought the 4th place in the general competition.
