The future of Cahulan volleyball

On Saturday, February 3, the team of Sports School No. 1 from the municipality of Cahul, participating in the Moldova Volleyball Championship among girls born in 2009 and younger. Cahuleni hosted colleagues from the "Speranța" team (Chișinău) on their own ground. The tough match, which lasted exactly two hours, ended with a 3:1 victory for the visitors. Our girls missed their chance in the third set, failing to capitalize on some advantageous moments. The lack of experience, which is so necessary in matches of teams of equal qualification, took its toll.

We still have to work hard and move forward. There is a normal training process and we will look for reserves to strengthen within the team, but I am convinced that they are there. Most of our players, with a strong desire, have excellent opportunities to become high-class volleyball players.
