Theater-studio "Masca"

Established in 2009, this circle dedicated itself to the art of acting and the arts of speech. Over time, the "Masca" Theater Studio has brought joy and emotion to the hearts of the people of Cahul through the performances held in the cultural and educational institutions of Cahul. We have been involved in numerous cultural events, staging a wide range of shows, from dramatizations and literary compositions to matinees, etc.

Our mission was to teach young actors the art of theatrical performance. During our performances, they became familiar with aspects such as direction, artistic play, stage costume, scenography, lighting, sound and costumes.

Over the years, I have participated in numerous festivals and international competitions, proudly representing the Republic of Moldova. Our achievements fill us with satisfaction:

🏆 Grand Prize for the show "Shoeless Motan" by Charles Perrault at the "Sus Cortina" Amateur Theater Festival in Botoșani, Romania, in 2020.

🏆 The special prize of the jury for the performance "When the cat is not home" by V. Filip at the Competition Festival of Amateur Theaters "Vasile Alecsandri" in 2021.

🏆 Group category trophy at the "Dor de scenă" National Music and Theater Festival, 2nd edition (online) organized by Artyou School, Romania, in 2022.

We are proud of what we have achieved, but we are even happier to offer the young people of Cahul the opportunity to discover their passion for theater and develop acting skills. Here, every story comes true on stage.
