Palace of Culture "N.Botgros"

Built in 1984, the Palace is an impressive edifice with a capacity of 600 seats and hosts 11 collectives and various artistic ensembles. These include the ensembles "Izvorașul", " Iuventa ", "Nufărul", " Bobocelul ", " Majorette-Show ", "Lăcrimioare", as well as the "Masca" Studio Theater, the Chess Center, the "Hobby Boom" Cercul Mâini Dibace, the Cercul of Guitar, the Municipal Brass Band and the "Altita" Ethno-Folkloric Ensemble. More than 600 children actively participate in these circles, developing their artistic passions and creativity within them.

The Palace of Culture plays a central role in the cultural life of the community, organizing various events such as concerts dedicated to the Winter Holidays, Culture Day, Spring and March, Children's Day, Cahul City Day and Temple, and of major importance: the International Folklore Festival " Nufărul Alb", the "Mărțisor" Festival, and hosts a permanent exhibition of folk craftsmen from the cross-border region, in collaboration with Romania.

In addition to cultural events, the Palace opens its doors for a variety of activities and events, such as art exhibitions, concerts, performances, master classes, creative meetings, trainings, seminars, festivals, competitions, conferences, film screenings and more. It also offers rental spaces for various types of activities, contributing to the diversity and cultural vitality of the community.
