T&K Dance Group

In our dance team, "T&K Dance Group", we have 4 groups of children, aged between 6 and 16 years. These groups focus on developing dance styles such as hip-hop, jazz funk, modern jazz, contemporary dance and, of course, original choreography. The learning process is structured in stages, taking into account the level of preparation and individual abilities of the children.

We work with modern dance techniques and standards, alongside our own methods:

1. Development of general physical ability
2. Development of specific physical capacity
3. Coordination in space (movement, figures, choreographic constructions)
4. Improvisation
5. The plasticity of rhythm
6. Classic exercises for various dance styles

Through this approach, we create a unique choreographic language that adapts to the characteristics and abilities of each child, depending on their age. This helps us to achieve positive results during the training period.

Our dance team "T&K Dance Group" was formed in 2016 and is part of the Sports Dance Federation of the Republic of Moldova (FDSM). During our activity, we participated in various competitions, including:

• Just Dance Moldova 2017 (demo program)
• Just Dance Moldova 2018, winning 1st place in the Adult category and 2nd place in the Junior category
• Championship of the Republic of Moldova in Modern Dances 2019, 2nd place in the Adults category
• True Dance Cup Tiraspol 2019, 1st place in the Adult category
• Just Dance Moldova 2019, 1st place and 2nd place in the KIDS category and 1st place in the Solo KIDS category
• In November 2022, at the International Dance Competition in Bucharest, Romania, I participated with two groups in the Thematic Dance, Hip-Hop, Street Dance and Show Dance categories, obtaining 1st place in all four categories for Juniors I (PRO) (10 -12 years). In the category Juniors II (PRO) (13-15 years old), I got the 1st place in the Show Dance category and the 2nd place in the Street Dance category, also winning the special prize "Voucher for participation in Dance Grand Prix Sofia 2023".

And we continue to participate at every opportunity in local cultural activities but also in national and international competitions.

To mention: The hours of activity are established in September, depending on the formation of the groups, according to the age of the beneficiaries.
