Cahul triumphs at Prague Wrestling Open 2023: Three awards of excellence for young wrestlers!

With pride and notable achievements, the disciples of Sports School No. 2 from Cahul triumphed at the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament "Prague Wrestling Open 2023". This intense competition brought together over 320 participants from 12 different countries, providing a head-to-head platform for young fighters eager to put their skills to the test.

Representing with dignity the Colors of the municipality of Cahul, our students returned home carrying with them not only the valuable experience of the international competition, but also three meritorious prizes. Impressive team performances include a top spot by Zidu Beniamin, who placed first in his category, Fulger Alexandru, taking second place, and Semion Meriora, taking first place.

These exceptional results are the result of the hard work and dedication of both the young fighters and their devoted coaches, Guglea Serghei and Ivanov Ivan. They proudly represent Sports School no. 2 and contribute to the promotion of sport and excellence in our community. Congratulations to the team for these remarkable triumphs and for bringing honor to the municipality of Cahul and our country in the international wrestling arena!
