We announce - "VIEREANA" competition, the 7th edition
Cahul City Hall, in collaboration with the School of Visual Arts for Children, organizes between 1.02.24 - 14.02.24 - the "VIEREANA" art competition, dedicated to the birthday of the poet Grigore Vieru.
The competition includes 2 sections:
- the painting
- graphics
For age categories: 9-10; 11-12; 13-14 and 15-19 years old, as well as the art teachers' competition.
Each educational institution can delegate three participants for each age category and section. The enrollment list with the students' data, age, title of works, technique and dimensions will be approved by the school they represent. Each competitor can register with a work for a section, carried out in the academic year 2023-2024.
The works will be presented from December 26, 2023 to January 15, 2024, at the headquarters of the School of Fine Arts.
The works will be framed or mounted and will not exceed the dimensions of 60x40 (A2 format). In the right corner, at the bottom, the works will be inscribed:
- Name and surname of the author
- The institution it represents
- The title of the work
- Work technique
- Dimensions
- The coordinating teacher
- E-mail address of the institution/teacher
- Contact number of the institution/teacher
The judging will be carried out by specialists in the field of fine arts between 16.01 - 19.01.2024
The opening of the exhibition and the awarding of prizes will take place on 14.02.24 in the premises of the Palace of Culture "N.Botgros" in Cahul.
